Workrate is growing, and with it the number of account managers. To ensure that they have the tools to perform their managerial work well and consistently, the Account Manager Empowerment Program has been created. Coen van den Broek – Lead Learning & Development EMEA – explains. 

 

Coen: "Due to the growth of Workrate, the number of account managers at Workrate has increased considerably. A number of colleagues who previously held other positions within Workrate have moved on to this new role. Logically, they did not immediately have all the skills and knowledge ready to perform the complex function in a consistent manner. While consistency is important to guarantee Workrates quality at all customer locations.

 

That is why Workrate has launched the Account Manager Empowerment Program in the Netherlands and Germany. This training program has been specifically developed for (potential) account managers, and is expected to be extended to France and the United Kingdom next year. This program focuses primarily on three specific aspects of leadership: personal leadership, coaching leadership, and training leadership. An interesting program with live sessions that are supplemented with online training and independent exercises. In this way, all account managers – wherever they work – can perform their tasks in the same way. This ensures clarity and promotes better cooperation between all colleagues!"
